We are an expanding recruitment firm based in the Thames Valley area looking for a trainee recruitment consultant ideally of graduate calibre or a sales person who has some sales training or experience.

We have developed many successful relationships with key clients and are looking for a new member of our team to help grow our business.

The Job

Recruitment can be an extremely rewarding profession not only financially but also from a job satisfaction perspective. Recruitment can be broken down into many sectors/industries that you can choose to specialise in based on your interests and which sectors are the most active. We will give you the tools to be a successful recruitment consultant by teaching you the basics and providing you with a good working environment.

Responsibilities

-New business development- You will generate your own clients, jobs, placements from the tools we provide you with. This will include new business calls to prospective clients.
-Be responsible for your own monthly targets which will be staggered according to your training and time with the business (obviously we wouldn’t expect you to bill money immediately).
-Be a team player and help on ad-hoc projects as required including resourcing for other consultants.

-Positive attitude – We are looking for candidates with a positive attitude and outlook. If you approach this job with the right attitude you will forge a long career and will be very successful.
-Resilience – Recruitment is a tough industry and there are days when everything goes wrong, are you resilient enough to deal with this and come back stronger?
-Not afraid of picking up the phone – Recruitment is a telephone based role. There will be client interaction and registering candidates face to face however in order to succeed, there are basic call numbers that should be considered.
-Money Hungry – Despite the obvious non tangible rewards that can be gained from a career in recruitment like relationship building and helping people find new work, there are huge monetary benefits to working in recruitment.
